StartSomeGood News

Last week we launched two new campaigns:
- So Love Project provides a supportive setting for autistic children to learn and thrive. The program addresses skills that will help children two to six years of age grow emotionally, socially and behaviorally. So Love is starting a project to open a communication center that will aid in the development of communication and language skills in autistic children. So Love’s campaign on StartSomeGood is seeking funding to open this new center that will help autistic toddlers transition into kindergarten.
- Yaya Education Trust is improving the living conditions for women and children in the rural communities of Mumias District, Kenya. Yaya creates ventures that generate income to support education, mentoring programs, vocational training and human rights awareness campaigns. Yaya is launching a Community Goat Bank project that will help women start businesses and sustain themselves financially. The tipping point will help Yaya launch the project, train beneficiaries to become entrepreneurs and purchase the first batch of 60 goats.
