RippleCrowd is creating ‘waves of change’ by giving viral exposure to corporates in exchange for nonprofit funding. The goal is for nonprofits and corporations to work together, in cooperation, to achieve both their goals. Twitter and Facebook users can donate a tweet or status update so that corporations gain viral exposure and they, in turn, help to fund nonprofits who need money to carry out their good. This campaign will help RippleCrowd launch a beta platform for its site.

Events For A Purpose strengthens smaller charity organizations so that they can more easily live out their missions by providing them with a business consultant. Cutting For A Purpose has two missions—employ and teach skills to homeless teens and adults while also helping to grow small local charities. The idea is simple—send in your old jeans, along with $10, and hired cutters will take worn out jeans and make them into fashionably destroyed jeans. The campaign’s $600 tipping point goal will help formally set up Events For A Purpose and the total funding goal will help hire employees for Cutting For A Purpose.
